Gave a presentation on Computer Vision.Presented a computer vision project made using OpenCV that helps computer interpret American Sign Language,
also presented project made to help computer identify parts of face using haar cascades.
First Robotics Competition 2017 6th place NYC Regionals
First Robotics Compeition is a robotics competition for high school students.Was a member
of my high school robotics team which won the 6th place at FRC NYC regionals 2016.
Selected as Break Through Tech Ambassador
Selected as the Ambassador for Break Through Tech NY, an organization which is aimed
at increasing the participation of women in tech-related fields
Elected as president of Queens College Robotics Club
Got highest number of votes and thus elected as president of Queens College Robotics Club
Elected as head of Electronics and Pneumatics Department of JBHS Robotics Team
Chosen by the advisor and the previous departmental heads as the new head of the Electronics
and Pneumatics Department of the JBHS Robotics Team

Awarded certificate for outstanding Service to Science Department in high school. Volunteered in the
Chemistry lab, was an active member of many science clubs and trained members of Robotics Club on the different electronics and pneumatics components of a robot.
JBHS STEM Program
Selected as a member of John Bowne High School STEM Program. The program is a four year sceened scientific research program and offers very limited seats and selection for this program is based on
academic performance as well as extra-curriculars and achievements. Through the program students are able to enroll in honors courses and participate in science research.
Teenwrights Play Writing
Selected as one of 9 students from our school to be a part of after-school program which taught the art and craft of playwriting.
Wrote an original play under the guidance of Director Will Pomerantz, which was performed by professional actors from Primary Stages, an Off-Broadway not for profit theatre company.
Academy of Creative Artists(ACA) Program
Selected for the ACA program of John Bowne High School. A highly selective program that screens students based on
academic record in English courses as well as creative writing skills.The program provided students an enriched artistry program
through a sequence of highly varied writing and performance courses. Through writing,
workshopping, performances, and literary experiences, the students are prepared for
the rigors of professional work in writing.
